Berlin Beats presents: DER BÄR TANZT!
Since the 13th century the bear has appeared in the City of Berlin’s code of arms, and later became the main feature in it. With his ferocious ‘don’t-mess-with-me’ stance, Gene Simmons-like love tongue, and pumped-up kicks, our Berlin bear is ready to get down for the next round of our monthly affair.
But if you have ever been to the circus and seen a bear dance, you will know as soon as he gets his groove on, his fierceness melts like butter and a big jolly swinging
fur ball comes out to play. It’s not without reason that Germans use the expression ‘Der Bär ist los’ to mean a party or happening that really goes off big-time.
So move over, Yogi, Balu & Moreno’s stained, smelly & hole-ridden teddy, because on Friday 26 October DER BÄR TANZT!
